Automotive and Manufacturing

Since 1999, Calian has expanded our capability for supplying skilled resources to automotive and manufacturing companies in southern Ontario. We have grown our client list to include automobile assembly plants, tier one automotive parts manufacturers as well as major consumer product manufacturers. Calian supports our customers by providing "just in time" professionals in the areas of engineering, quality, production and research & development. These professionals augment our customers' workforce on an "as and when required" basis.

As with all of our services, the advantage of Calian's automotive and manufacturing staffing services is our flexibility. Production cycles ebb and flow, as do our customers' needs for resources with skill sets specific to this industry. Calian works closely with our customers to proactively identify and recruit for future production requirements.

Recruiting is a core competency of Calian, and our team of recruiters has been equipped with the tools and processes that not only allow them to source hard to find resources but also to build effective relationships with them to assist in achieving their career goals. Our applicant tracking system integrates resume management, contact management and recruiting requisitions into a single tool. As our customers' production needs evolve, our recruiters will expeditiously match their needs with our resources' strengths.

Calian's automotive and manufacturing staffing services are predominantly supplied through our Toronto office, located in one of the most important automotive manufacturing centres in North America and home to over one thousand advanced manufacturing companies. To better serve our customers and our candidates, Calian continues to develop relationships with these organizations and to obtain new Vendor of Record Agreements.

Our job board contains numerous requirements for a wide variety of positions including manufacturing, process, industrial, quality, mechanical and chemical engineering, robotics technicians, production supervisors, engineering and plant managers.
