    Contract, full time
Length of Assignment:
    3 months plus option for renewal
Job Description:
  • Implementation and commissioning of new captive labs;
  • Perform booking on test equipment as required (network elements, test sets);
  • Download and install software on test targets;
  • Troubleshooting of new or existing labs;
  • Execute permanent and temporary hardware changes in support of test case execution such as emulation of hardware failures, fiber cuts and power failure;
  • Follow up of nightly issues with the Ottawa design team by re-creating the environment and steps require to reproduce the issues and/or logs;
  • Acceptance of Service Requests via phone calls, emails, or walk-ups and escalation of troubleshooting to our customer's support group.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Sound understanding of telecom equipment;
  • Sound knowledge optical test equipment.
Special Conditions:
  • Willingness to work from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
