Description of Project or Company/Organization:
As a key partner with the Department of National Defence, Calian is the employer of choice for civilian healthcare professionals. Through our Health Service Support Contract, Calian professionals work in partnership with military healthcare teams at more than 30 Canadian Forces Bases across Canada.
Job Description:
Working in partnership with Military healthcare professionals the Physician will practice as a member of an interdisciplinary team within the Base Clinic and will consult with members of other health professions as appropriate in order to ensure the health care needs of Military Service Members are met.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Health promotion, prevention of diseases and injuries, cure, rehabilitation and support services.
- Implementing strategies to promote health and prevent illness with individuals.
- Perform comprehensive health assessment and synthesize data from multiple sources to make a diagnosis of a disease or disorder.
