Type of Assignment:Job Description:
Our client is currently sourcing for a Software Development Manger to perform the following duties:
- Maximize architectural design for all business applications on a J2EE framework
- Provide leadership and design solutions for enterprise web-applications, COTS solutions and data management tools
- Provide architectural design, development, implementation and support strategies on BI tools and data warehousing
- Manage a development team, their processes, technologies and daily operations
- Provide development strategies, project initiatives and technical vision
- Guide the development team in development cycle based on various development methodologies
- Support development team in their professional growth, document best practices and provide a knowledge base for future use
- Participate in recruitment and staffing activities
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- Experience in design and development of integration frameworks
- Expert knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile and/or Waterfall
- Must have continuously worked with web-based technologies in a J2EE framework
- Experience with Oracle databases, BI and data warehousing tools and COTS applications
- Knowledge of ITIL practices
- Experience with various SAP modules
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bilingualism – English and French
- ITIL certification
