    Be a part of 33 Health Services Centre and work between the CFB Kingston medical clinic and the new satellite clinic at Royal Military College in a multi-disciplinary team providing mental health support and primary care Canadian Armed Forces members and to students at the Royal Military College.

    Key activities include but are not limited to:

  • Administering a full range of diagnostic test for psychometric assessment, interpret the results, and prepare psychological evaluations
  • Reporting results and interpretations of tests, interviews, and evaluations to the multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing treatment of a variety of mental health conditions using evidence based practice
  • Participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health team in case reviews
  • Providing expert advice on mental illness or disorders to primary care providers to assist them in the identification, diagnosis and treatment of patients with mental health disorders
  • Creating and maintaining patient records

The qualifications:

    A Clinical Psychologist with:

  • Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University

  • Post-graduate experience with psycho-diagnostic assessment and treatment of PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders

  • Registered Psychologist authorized for autonomous practice the appropriate provincial licensing body

  • Experience operating a personal computer and utilizing MS Office software

Type of Assignment:

    Part time, Contract to March 31, 2018 with anticipation of extension
    2.5 days per week, Monday to Friday
    Willingness to work 1 Saturday per month from 10am to 2pm
